Requirements for using Sirius GT remotely are simple as long as you have an internet connection and set up an account with GoToMyPC.

What is GoToMyPC?
Simply put, it allows you to access a PC desktop from anywhere you have internet access and a web browser.

What you do is go to the GoToMyPC website and download the trial version of the software and set up a trial account. Install the software on the computer that you want to be the host (it must be connected to the internet to be accessed). When you sign up you will use your email address and assign your own password to access your account.

After you have the software loaded and configured on the host machine you will be able to access it remotely by going to the GoToMyPC website, logging in to the account you set up and pressing a button to connect to your remote machine. If you configure the software as described below you will see your host desktop appear on your remote computer. Now you can access everything on your host desktop just as you would if you were sitting in front of it.

Where this will come in handy is if you have a remote office or want to work from home, now you can. The only thing you need is an account for every PC you want to access. Only one person can access a host PC remotely at a time.

Results vary but how you have the GoToMyPC software configured plays the most important part of how well it works. We have found if you use the Window mode it may or may not give you the results you are looking for. But if you set the software to work full screen and make sure that the PC you are connecting to is set to the same resolution (ie: 1024x768) really speeds up the connection. Setting the host and remote PC to the same resolution eliminates the need for GoToMyPC from having to resize the desktop while running.
